BHNC

The Box Hill Neighbourhood Council was formed well over 30 years ago by a group of caring residents who wanted to bring together the residents of Box Hill to establish a focal point for the benefit of the whole community. We thought you might like to know who the current council members are. They are always happy to hear from you on ways the BHNC can help.

Over the years it has monitored development applications and proposed changes to local social services. It has arranged public meeting for the local residents to air their views on various matters including such things as protecting this area of outstanding natural beauty from inappropriate developments, preservation of St. Andrew's Church built by local for local people, changes to local hospital facilities and then followed these up with representations to the appropriate authorities.

The committee members are all unpaid volunteers who give their time because they enjoy being part of the diverse and thriving community of Box Hill.
